What is the Data Flow?
Data flow is the path data moves from the data source to the data’s destination. WP Data Sync makes the data flow a smooth seamless process. Our servers handle the heavy load by staging and sorting the data with the WP Data Sync API. Then, the data is synced with your website. This is done through a WP REST API endpoint provided by the WP Data Sync plugin. This allows the data to flow while your production server remains up and available for you users.
What is a Data Source?
A data source is a facility for storing data. A data source can take many shapes. WP Data Sync supports data available in these formats.
- Google Sheets
WP Data Sync also supports local data creation. This means you can create and manage your own data feed right from the easy to use WP Data Sync dashboard.
WP Data Sync supports multiple data sources into an account. Our sorting process creates WordPress objects from the data. This transforms the data to be perfectly uniform regardless of where it came from.
What is an endpoint?
An endpoint is the last point in a network connection. In this case, the endpoint would be a WordPress website equipped the the WP Data Sync plugin.
WP Data Sync allows for multiple endpoints to use the same data from an account. This can be very useful for creating a network. And, WP Data Sync makes it affordable.
